We try to make buying as easy as possible - if you have any queries please give us a call, you will speak to people who work for the company based in the UK.
ITEMS AVAILABLE ONLINE - Just browse our store, make your choices and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.
After you have finished your selection, click on VIEW CART and edit your order if necessary.
When you are ready to buy click on CHECKOUT and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
You can pay online via the secure link to our card processing companies or give us a call to discuss other payment methods including payment over the telephone, alternatively print out the order and post with your cheque.
Some CUSTOMISED ITEMS - may not be available to order "on-line". Please see the information displayed on the store pages to help you buy these items.
When you receive confirmation of payment from our payment service providers, this is to indicate that we have received your payment. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we email you confirmation of order. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason, or the specification has changed but possibly not updated on the web site. In these cases we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Please remember that photo's taken by professional third party's may have copyright, by sending us a photo to use you confirm that you indemnify us or have the photo owners permission to reproduce it.
|Shipping And Handling|
Parcels are normally sent by Royal Mail. Parcels up to1kg may be sent as 2nd Class Parcel.
Parcels over 1kg may be sent by Courier.
Both Couriers and Royal Mail may take 2 to 3 days for delivery (delivery does not include manufacturing time).
A signature may be required for signed for deliveries, unless you have authorised us to leave the packet/parcel without signature. Horseco Ltd, Royal Mail or Couriers will not be responsible for the security of your parcel in this event.
Postage & Packing = P&P: UK P&P is stated on the view cart &/or checkout screen.

P&P is calculated on a weight basis (other than for books and jewellery which are posted separately, please refer to details in those sections)
Up to 150gms £2.25, 151 - 250gms £3.70, 251- 500gms £4.25, 501-750gms £4.75, 751-1000gms £5.75, 1001-2kg £6.75, 2kg-4kg £9.40.
Some horseshoe items may have to be shipped seperately - this does not affect the P&P you pay.
P&P for Special Occassion signed for items may be included in the price shown as they have to be shipped seperately.
The above shipping costs & delivery is limited to orders within the UK, overseas buyers are invited to email us with details of the products they are interested in and we will quote a price in both £ sterling and your national currency inclusive of P&P. If accepted we will then email a PayPal invoice to collect payment.
We stock considerable quantities of many types and sizes of horseshoes in natural condition or part finished, but we only complete them and customise them to order to reduce the time the items are on the shelf. This helps quality control.
Products that require processing or other work will normally be done within 7 days of receiving your payment. This does not include the time taken by Royal Mail or Couriers to deliver letters or parcels which may add a further 2 to 3 days. Therefore if your "must receive by" date is important please advise us by email or type a comment in the box at "checkout" so that we schedule production and posting accordingly.
Some special plating or painting processes may take longer. If there is going to be any delay, we will advise you by email (or telephone or text if you have given us this information and you prefer this method) at which time you can cancel your order for a full refund or advise us accordingly.
International orders are confirmed to you when we have the couriers schedule in hand.
You will be emailed (or we will contact you according to your preference) when the goods have been posted by us.
If items cannot be made within our normal delivery schedule (see Delivery Schedule for details ) we will email you or contact you (subject to your preference) to give you an estimated delivery time.
If you have ordered a number of items and some cannot be made within our delivery schedule, we will email you or contact you to ask if you want to receive part of the order now with the balance to follow.
You always have the option to cancel your order without prejudice or cost if you would rather not wait and any payment received will be refunded by us.
If you accept part of the order and do not want to wait for the balance then you may request a refund of the part order not available.
The product prices, postage/delivery charges and packing costs are inclusive of all UK taxes that we are obliged to collect/pay
|Credit Card Security|
We use NoChex or PayPal secure site for Credit & Debit Card payments on-line. You do not need a PayPal account to use their service.
Deliveries can normally only be made to the same address as that registered to the credit/debit card.
If you want a delivery to an alternative address then please contact us before making payment.
Delivery to an alternative address means that the order may not be able to be completed "On-Line", we will advise you during your call.
Delivery will then be made once the payment has cleared in our account and the payment will be exempt from chargebacks.
All of Horseco Ltd products (except clock mechanisms see below) have a warranty period of 12 months.
Special Memory Horseshoes (i.e customers own horseshoes) are a customised item and do not have a warranty period if they are made from steel. We clean, treat and polish owners horseshoe to a shine finish without removing the surface metal which would change the unique characteristics/appearance of the horseshoe. Whilst we try to remove visible rust, the conditions to which horseshoes have been exposed mean that it is impossible to guarantee that rust or tarnishing will not reappear in time. This time period is dictated by the atmosphere in which the horseshoe is kept when returned to the owner. Regular polishing will slow down the rusting. Lacquer can be applied to seal the surface and slow down rusting but it is not possible to guarantee that rust particles particularly in nail holes will not reappear in time. Sunlight and damp will damage the surface of all materials as nature intended, including lacquers and paints.
Return any Horseco Ltd. item delivered in a damaged or faulty condition within 14 days and we will refund the delivered price plus the return post charge at cost. Allow up to 21 days for us to process the repayment and we will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods.

Images on this site are for reference purposes only. Due to photographic constraints actual colours and finishes may vary from the pictures shown. Also part of the product process is 'artisan' (ie. not factory) produced and therefore cannot be identical. Minor variations are part of the process and add to the originality of the items. These elements are not considered as "faults".
If the fault is in a clock mechanism then do not return the entire item, please post the clock mechanism to us and request a replacement mechanism. Clock mechanisms have a six month guarantee.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund in the event that the item is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear.
Please ensure that you enclose the Advice Note that contains your details in order that the item can be identified.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: HOME APPROVAL EXCEPTIONS.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order for any product apart from products made to your specifications or personalised or customised.
Most products on our website (other than natural horseshoes) are customised and made to order and therefore NOT sold on home approval.

Horseshoes are industrial items and we try to produce a clean and smooth surface when the horseshoe is to be used for decorative or gift purposes.
However nicks, dents, blemishes, scratches are all part of the life of horseshoes and are considered part of their character in an artisan produced item. It is impossible to remove them entirely and a "perfect" finish is unrealistic. We do not accept the forementioned are faults or a reason for return
The customer can return the item (postage cost at the customers expense, non refundable), but as a customised product we will only reimburse the actual cost of the horseshoe but not any engraving or other costs incurred by the company in fulfilling the bespoke order, nor our postage costs.
If you change your mind about an item, you may return it within 14 days of receipt. We recommend that you obtain proof of delivery.
If you are returning the goods because you want to change the specification (eg colour/size) then please re-order through the website.
Provided that the item is returned in clean condition and in its original packaging, the cost of the products will be refunded and you should allow up to 21 days from receipt by us of your returned goods for your refund to be processed. We will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods.
Postage and packaging charges will NOT be refunded and customers are responsible for meeting the cost of return postage for items that are not faulty (see Guarantee section for faulty goods).
